Find out what we learnt from Phase Two Public Consultation in our latest Community Update

The Spring edition of our Community Update is now live and ready for you to read, and in this issue, we’re taking a look back at our Phase Two Public Consultation, which ran from 11 February to 2 April 2026.

During our consultation period, we had really insightful conversations and informative discussions about our proposals. We met over 800 people at 15 community and canal side venues along the scheme’s route, including our online event. We also received hundreds of comments and queries direct to our email address and phoneline.

In this issue, we’ve got a high-level overview of the types of things people told us for the Northern, Canal and Southern sections of the scheme, outlining the emerging themes and what people would like us to consider across the scheme’s route.

You can also learn more about the next steps for the Grand Union Canal Transfer scheme, how we’re continuing to engage with stakeholders and communities, as well as our progress towards our Development Consent Order (DCO) submission.
