https://www.guctransfer.co.uk is a site operated by Affinity Water Limited (“We”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 2546950 and have our registered office and main trading address at Tamblin Way, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9EZ. Our VAT number is 600 4315 04.

We are a private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act 2006 and hold an appointment as a water undertaker under what is now Section 6 of the Water Industry Act 1991. As a water undertaker, we are regulated by the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat), the Drinking Water Inspectorate and the Environment Agency.

Definitions

Unless otherwise stated, the terms “Grand Union Canal Transfer scheme or project”, “us”, “we” and similar references are used on this website to refer collectively to the Grand Union Canal Transfer project, partners in the Grand Union Canal Transfer project and other interests held by us. The Grand Union Canal Transfer project is an Affinity Water Limited led DCO project working in collaboration with Severn Trent Water Limited and the Canal & Rivers Trust.
