Discover how we’re maintaining water quality in our December Community Update

The Winter edition of our Community Update is now available, and we’re excited to share how we’re working to maintain water quality as we develop the scheme. We’ve created a short animation to explain the water recycling process, and we’ve answered some specific questions from our Phase One Public Consultation on the quality of water entering the canal.

Since our last update in the summer, there have been some significant announcements surrounding the selection of key sites and routes for the pipeline, and more details on these can be found in the update below.

We’ve also taken on board feedback from our Phase One Public Consultation around the importance of maintaining peace and quiet as we undertake our works, and Head of Engineering and Environment at Affinity Water, Doug Hunt, has provided a short update on the work we’ve been doing on this.

Alongside these updates, we’ve launched some all-new web content, and we’ve provided some more details around how we’re planning to introduce social value across the scheme.
